one of the poems...

Dancing Hawk Drummer

I light your fire
I dance in your flames
You warm my rock
The heat lasts all night

I want to dance with you in the East
To rest beside you on the wind
To sing and drum and call the visions
Of our special love together
With you I would be the rock-filled beach
At Lake Superior Agawa Bay
You the waves that roll over me
Continually rolling my stones
Creating in them waves too of ecstasy
As they move and dance
Wind upon the waters
Song in the throat
Fire in the wood
Quiet tipi in the dark
